RAIN ALTERS WEEKEND DRAG RACING

Rain is making its way across the midwest leaving many drag racing schedules altered or postponed. On Saturday, action at the NHRA Route 66 Nationals was delayed by 90 minutes and today, persistent rains have forced the event into a holding pattern. Eliminations were scheduled for 11 AM, CST., but the schedule for Sunday appears to be up in the air.

The ADRL Ford Drive One Summer Drags in Martin, MI., fell victim to wet weather on Saturday evening, forcing the postponement of the event until July in Topeka, Kan. This marks the second consecutive event for the ADRL where the eliminations from a previous event will be completed during qualifications of another.
