“This was a great weekend for the Lucas Oil team,” said Litton. “The car was running great, even in this heat. The team worked hard and made all the right moves. Three finals in only four races is quite an accomplishment; I’m very thankful for our success so far. I have wonderful sponsors in Lucas Oil and Lucas Slick Mist. Not only do they have awesome products, the people behind the products are awesome as well. And I have a wonderful team that works hard and makes things happen. We’re out here enjoying what we do and seeing some success while we’re at it. It doesn’t get much better than that.”

The Lucas Oil machine also displays a decal commemorating the life of Karsyn Bell, a young girl who succumbed to cancer earlier this year. Litton is running the decal to honor Karsyn and promote the work of Riley Hospital for Children where Karsyn underwent several treatments during her illness.

“We’ve been running this decal for Karsyn and Riley Hospital for three races now and people are noticing it. It is my hope that we can raise awareness for what the hospital is doing for children like Karsyn. Hopefully we can take a few steps closer to ending childhood cancer.”
