“Fans have really responded to the behind-the-scenes vantage point that Full Throttle TV offers, so we’re expanding the show’s availability to give people more ways to experience the energy of drag racing,” said Chris Lopez, senior marketing manager, Sports, Coca-Cola North America. “Full Throttle TV on Time Warner Cable lets fans ‘Go Full Throttle or Go Home’ whenever they choose.”

The two Full Throttle TV episodes now available on Local On Demand feature the team most familiar to Ohio race fans, Jeg Coughlin’s JEGS.com Chevy Cobalt Pro Stock team. Coughlin, from Delaware, Ohio, is the youngest of Jeg Coughlin Sr.’s four sons and he’s amassed four NHRA Full Throttle Series world championships (2000, ’02, ’07, ’08) and 46 NHRA Full Throttle Series event wins (10th place on the all-time NHRA Full Throttle Series wins list).

The first episode explores Jeg Coughlin’s chances of winning a fifth NHRA Full Throttle Series world championship and profiles the Coughlin’s celebrity chef, Nicky Morse, in a segment titled “A Taste of the Track.” The second installment features a discussion with Jeg Sr. and Jr. as well as a visit to Funny Car driver Matt Hagan’s cattle farm in southwestern Virginia.

Time Warner Cable Mid-Ohio Division customers can access the content on Local On Demand Channel 1111 or 1, then select “Sports” and “Racing.”

Full Throttle, a product of Coca-Cola North America, is the official energy drink of NHRA and is in its first season as title sponsor of the drag racing series. The partnership between Coca-Cola and NHRA extends through the 2013 season, representing one of the longest running series sponsorships in motorsports. Full Throttle TV was launched at the start of the 2009 season.
