Among the most popular programs added in recent years has been the NHRA Summit Racing Series National Championship, conducted at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona.   The event brings the “best-of-the-best” in each of NHRA’s seven divisions together at the end of the season to crown NHRA Summit Racing Series national champions.    Since its introduction, the national championship program has become a highlight of the season finale in Pomona and coveted by the weekly racers around the country as among the highlights of their racing careers.

Summit Racing Equipment has been the title rights sponsor of the SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas since the inaugural event in 2000. At the conclusion of this agreement, it will mark 12 years as title rights of the popular destination event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Summit took over title rights of the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals in 2002. Next year, the event at Atlanta Dragway will celebrate its 30th anniversary.
