Anderson is racing this weekend at the NHRA Midsouth Nationals with a cast on his left hand.

“I went to the doctor after the race,” Anderson said. “It’s just one of those things where you have to grit it out.”

Anderson was injured when his hand slipped off a chinning bar at the gym.
