COPE RETURNS TO STAR RACING

Greg Cope has taken a position with Star Racing’s high performance engine and cylinder head copedepartment.

Cope, who began his racing career with Star in the early 1980’s, is a cylinder head porting specialist and engine building expert who brings 30 years of experience to the Star team.

Cope is well known in Pro Stock Motorcycle industry as the former crew chief for four of six championship seasons with Dave Schultz and for his success in operating the Cope Racing engine shop. He is transitioning to Star after a recent stint with Vance & Hines.

“I see the unlimited potential of the Star Racing brand and am eager to move forward with our 4-cylinder and V-Twin engine programs,” Cope said. “The Star team is also working on high performance parts and upgrades for the new style sport bikes such as the Hayabusa, GSX-R’s and ZX-14’s.  I’m very excited to be working with a company that has so much talent and experience.  Whether it is motorcycle parts and engines sales, machine shop services, engine building, or putting together complete motorcycles – we do it all.”
