2017 HOT ROD REUNION EVENTS TO BE FEATURED ON NHRA ALL ACCESS


 
Both of the NHRA Motorsports Museum’s Hot Rod Reunion events for 2017 will be featured on NHRA All Access, Museum and NHRA officials announced today. The intense racing action at the Holley National Hot Rod Reunion® presented by AAA Insurance in Bowling Green, Ky. and the 26th annual California Hot Rod Reunion presented by Automobile Club of Southern California will be featured during the race weekends.
 
A weekend pass can be purchased at $14.95 and current subscribers to NHRA All Access will receive the content at no additional charge. The weekend pass will go on sale June 12 and will include action from the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals and as a bonus, access to historic racing footage from past NHRA National events.
 
Coverage from Bowling Green will start daily with the first cars down the track at 10 a.m. on June 15, 8:30 a.m. on June 16 and 10 a.m. on June 17. Coverage will also include action of the famous Cacklefest® that concludes the event on Saturday evening.
 
Fans can also purchase the NHRA All Access season pass which will allow them access to both Hot Rod Reunions® plus the remaining NHRA Mello Yello Drag Series events.

The Hot Rod Reunions are a series of events are produced by and benefit the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum. The Hot Rod Reunion events are part of the museum’s “living history” philosophy, which works to bring to life the sights, sounds and people who made history in the early days of drag racing, land speed racing and the golden age of American car culture.
 
The 15th annual Holley National Hot Rod Reunion presented by AAA Insurance will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Father's Day weekend. The event features classic American hot rods; quarter-mile nostalgia drag racing; and nitro burning Top Fuel and Funny Cars.  
 
The 26th annual California Hot Rod Reunion presented by Automobile Club of Southern California also provides drag racing fans with quarter-mile nitro racing and a full display of California hot rod culture. The tradition-rich three-day event brings out racing legends and heroes of the sport. The event also serves as the final race of the 2017 NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Drag Racing Series season. The event will take place Oct. 20-22.
