ADRL President Kenny Nowling said he was happy to welcome the Guard to yet another role in the ADRL's 2008 season. The National Guard had previously been announced as the series' new presenting sponsor and will also be the title sponsor for the inaugural Budd's Creek, Md., event next season (the 1-800-GO-GUARD.com U.S. Drags in July).

"This is an exciting time; I'm just thrilled with the National Guard's involvement at all levels of ADRL activity," Nowling said. "This latest development with Josh's team is a testament to both the Guard's commitment to the ADRL and to our series' unlimited potential."

Hernandez is a two-time ADRL national event winner, and is one of only three Pro Extreme drivers to have 20 or more career round-wins.
