NHRA GATORNATIONALS HONORS V.I.P'S

Three individuals were honored and one received special mention at the just-completed NHRA AC Delco Gatornationals.
   
NHRA President Tom Compton, Media and Communications Vice President Jerry Archambeault and  Gainesville Raceway Executive General Manager Don Robertson were named honorary members of the All Fro team for their hands in establishing the new tower and especially the third floor, Media area with Norm Froscher's name on it.
   
Graham Light, Senior Vice President of Racing Operations, received Special Mention for being the first person interviewed by Froscher in the new $2 Million plus tower. Three individuals were honored and one received special mention at the just-completed NHRA AC Delco Gatornationals.

"I am humbled by the dedication of this state of the are working facility with my name on it, says Froscher, a veteran of 54 years in motorsports and one of the media gurus at the Gatornationals.
   
"I don't know if it is proper to give thanks in this manner, but it was the best way I could think of," Froscher says.
   
"Everybody from Tony Schumacher to Don Garlits and Grumpy Jenkins, winner of the first

Gators in Pro Stock and a member of the 2008 International Motorsports Hall of Fame, has been honored through the years, beginning with several clients in the nineties and I am certainly happy to show my expression of gratitude in this way ," Froscher says.
   
Froscher, former Executive Sports Editor of the Gainesville Sun and assistant sports editor in Jacksonville, has covered the Gatornationals since its beginning.
   
"I was sorry the dedication and ribbon cutting by Don Robertson had to indoors and brief, because the weatherman didn't cooperation on Friday,"  says Froschher, who heads Froscher Communications and Normfro@aol.com,    
  
The original press working area, named the Norm Froscher Press Room, was opened in 1989 and then moved to larger quarters before this edifice was built.
   
"As I have said before, it's always been an honor to have my bylines come out of the raceway and I pledge that this is a challenge, as well as a single honor," Froscher says. "I thank you for the honor and accept the challenge as part of my duties.
