In the past few seasons the IHRA Pro Stock division has promoted classes for those drivers who ran in the 6.40s and most recently the 6.30s. Jerry Haas Race Cars has stepped up to the plate with a special 6.20s club called the “Magnificent Eight.”

In the past few seasons the IHRA Pro Stock division has promoted classes for those drivers who ran in the 6.40s and most recently the 6.30s. Jerry Haas Race Cars has stepped up to the plate with a special 6.20s club called the “Magnificent Eight.”

The eight qualifiers will receive cash, a commemorative ring and jacket. The first driver into the 6.20s will receive $2500 while the others will take home $1,000.

“We are really close to getting 6.20s and I felt this program would encourage the teams to push it to the next level,” Haas said. “It’s good for the IHRA, good for eMax and good for Torco to have special programs like this. Number one – it is good for Jerry Haas Race Cars.”
