Officials from the NHRA Pacific Division, Auto Club Dragway, and Auto Club
Famoso Raceway announced today a change to the 2008 Pacific Division Lucas Oil
Drag Racing Series schedule.  Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car, which were
scheduled to run at the May 2-4 event at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, CA will
now be run at Auto Club Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, CA on September 12-13.  
This change applies to TAD and TAFC classes only, all other classes and

In a schedule unique to the Pacific Division, the Top Alcohol Dragster and Top
Alcohol Funny Car classes are contested at six of seven annual events, with a
rotating schedule of which track is excluded each season.  The rotation of
events not running these classes in upcoming years is: 2008 - Auto Club Dragway,
Fontana, CA; 2009 - Southwestern Int'l Raceway, Tucson, AZ; 2010 - Auto Club
Famoso Raceway, Bakersfield, CA; 2011 - Infineon Raceway, Sonoma, CA; 2012 -
Firebird Int'l Raceway, Chandler, AZ; 2013 - The Strip at Las Vegas Motor
Speedway, Las Vegas, NV.
