J.W. Performance Transmissions, a provider of high-performance
transmissions and drivetrain components for drag racing and street
applications, has joined Bristol Dragway as the title sponsor of the
May 2-4 Thunder Valley Southern Shootouts.

The J.W. Performance Transmissions Thunder Valley Southern Shootouts will provide three great days of racing excitement. With large purses on the line, gunslingers from across the region will make the trip to Bristol Dragway to take home their part of the prize.
Each morning gates open at 8 a.m. with tech inspection at 8:30 a.m. Time trials take place at 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Sunday's time trials roll off at 9 a.m. On Friday, eliminations begin at 3 p.m. Saturday's eliminations are scheduled for 3:30 p.m., and eliminations take place at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Single day admission is $10, while a three-day pass is available for only $25.
