Summit Motorsports Park racers have the largest points fund in sportsman racing history with the Moser Mega Series, but the bonuses that have been added to the generous $50,000.00 year end prizes make weekly participation more lucrative than at any other track. Rob Moser and Bill Bader Jr. put their heads together and devised a plan that will make instant winners out of the SMP weekly racers. Now a racer doesn't have to wait until year’s end to be in the money.

Last weekend, at the first completed points race of the 2008 season, SMP racers walked away with a combined total of $350.00 in bonus cash.

First and foremost, to be eligible for any of the Moser Mega Series money, racers must have Moser Mega Series decals on both sides of their cars or bikes. Most of our regulars have already applied the decals, but if you haven’t, don’t wait another weekend. The decals can be had from SMP Guest Services on the Bud side of the track until eliminations begin. During eliminations, excluding the finals, if you if a racer runs their dial (out to 1/1000) OR cut a perfect (0.000) light, you instantly win $25.00. If you’re running on Moser axles, that instant win becomes $50.00. If a racer cuts a perfect light, OR run on their dial in the final round, the bonus instantly becomes $50.00, and if they're running Moser axles, it becomes $500.00.

Additionally if a racer run on their dial (out to 1/1000) and cuts a perfect (0.000) light in the final round, the instant bonus becomes $100.00, and if a racer does that while running on Moser axles, the payout is $1000.00!

There are two things that racers need to keep in mind. First, the perfect light must be a 0.000, and while hitting the dial-in, it must be out to the 1/1000 place to be eligible for the bonus cash. The other thing that racers need to adhere to, is that the payout will be made on the day of the bonus win only. If a racer wins one Saturday and wait to get paid the next Saturday, they will lose the money.
