Richard Maskin of Dart Machinery has released the following statement regarding the  parting of company with Justin Humphreys and RaceRedi Motorsports.

"The business of developing and maintaining professional level drag racing engines is a very demanding and uncompromising endeavor; it is equally as competitive as being in the driver's seat. While I appreciate the financial demands that accompany pro racing and have attempted to be as understanding as possible, at the end of the day, I still have a business to run", said Richard Maskin. Dart's business includes the sale of high performance engine components, as well as supplying race engines for Pro Stock customers.

"We had some very good successes with Justin Humphreys and RaceRedi Motorsports, helping him go from rookie to final rounds very quickly. Humphreys is a very talented driver and we wish him continued success." commented Richard Maskin. "As a team, we were not making the continued progress we all had hoped for and had a difference of opinion as to why that occurred.  However, the departure from RaceRedi was strictly a financial separation", added Richard Maskin. “Our engines are, and continue to be, available to those with sufficient resources, and we are now supplying engines to Jim Yates Racing."  Maskin added that he remains hopeful that any open issues that exist between Justin Humphreys and himself and can be resolved quickly and amicably.
