This week's cruise night (9/10/08) the duo of Shredd and Ragan hope to raise money for the Variety Club by featuring some special attractions. Nationwide Insurance will be bringing their NASCAR Nationwide series car along with a NASCAR simulator. For a small donation to Variety Club, guests will be able to compete for high score in the simulator. Other fan contests will include the chance to guess at how loud (in decibels) the Nationwide series car is with it's engine revving as well as a burnout contest. Variety Club will be raffling off a prizes revolving around these contests. The feature of the night will be special burnout contest featuring Western New York's own Mike Janis. Mike Janis is a two time IHRA Pro Modified World Champion and has 19 career national event victories as well. Janis will be bringing his 2500 plus horsepower '67 Firebird to Dunn Tire's 660 foot racing surface for it's only Western New York appearance.

Regular Shredd and Ragan Cruise Night features will be happening as well including Grudge match racing, the Psycho Bass Chase, Loud pipes and the best in show contest.

This is a free event and everyone is encouraged to come by and support Variety Club. Crowds at these events this summer have been estimated at near 10,000.

Aero Collision in Lancaster has secured the Nationwide Car and Mike Janis for this event fund raising event.
