“Competition is so great in the world of ProMod cars; time has become a big factor in this decision,” team spokesman Jeff Lynn said in the prepared statement. “The task of preparing multiple cars for each race in different arenas has become unattainable.”
Currently Hernandez holds a 59 point lead over Tony Pontieri with two events reamining on the Jegs Pro Mod tour.
