Al Anabi Racing will sponsor the 6th annual Shakedown at E’town event, October 4 – 5, in Englishtown, N.J.
Tape delay television coverage on SPEED TV will also be included as part of the title sponsorship. The air dates for the event will be announced later.

Al Anabi Racing will sponsor the 6th annual Shakedown at E’town event, October 4 – 5, in Englishtown, N.J.

Former Pro Modified world champion and current front-runner Mike Castellana spearheaded the Al Anabi Racing effort to sponsor the event.
"Al Anabi Racing is excited about the upcoming 6th annual Shakedown at E'town." said Castellana. “Every year we’ve watched this race get bigger and better.
"For 2008 the Shakedown at E'town changed to a two day format, which paved the way for Al Anabi Racing and Speedtech Nitrous to come aboard and join E'town in putting on a world class drag race.”
“We are very happy to have Al Anabi racing as our event title sponsor and Speedtech Nitrous as our presenting sponsor,” added Dave Hance, who founded the event. “This agreement has produced a win for drag racing and for all the wonderful fans who support heads-up racing. Representing Al Anabi racing will be Pro Mod racers Mike Castellana, Shannon Jenkins, Rickie Smith, Burton Auxier, Khalid Al-Balooshi and Von Smith.”
The Al Anabi Racing Shakedown at E’town presented by Speedtech Nitrous has evolved into one of the premiere doorslammer events in the northeastern United States because of its penchant for lending record-setting conditions. New records are anticipated in Pro Mod Blown, Pro Mod Nitrous, Outlaw 10.5, Heavy Street, stock suspension Drag Radial as well as close competition in the 8.50 division.
The combination of cool, sea level air coupled with a total purse in excess of $150,000 provides great incentive for these performances.
