Pedregon Runs Low ET At Friday Night Test N Tune

Cruz Pedregon in John Powers' "Powers Steel" Camaro Nitro Funny Car ran low elapsed time in Friday night's Test-N-Tune at pedregon2.jpgFirebird International Raceway last night in preparation for tonights Aero Jet Nitro Funny Car Finals.

In his first pass in the "Powers Steel" Camaro", Pedregon ran a 6.06 elapsed time at 234 miles per hour which is the quickest that the "Powers Steel" Camaro has ever run.

In his first pass in the "Powers Steel" Camaro", Pedregon ran a 6.06 elapsed time at 234 miles per hour which is the quickest that the "Powers Steel" Camaro has ever run.

Del Worsham checked in with the second quickest elapsed time of the evening with an on and off the throttle 6.11, 194 miles per hour.

Mike Adams in the "Coors" Corvette was third quickest with 6.21 @ 234 miles per hour later in the evening.

Mark Stuckey returned to the seat of his "Nitro Charger" Dodge Daytona and made a planned early shutoff right after the launch. Mike Halstead came back later in the evening in the "Nitro Charger" and shut off early as he began flirting with the centerline. Ed Dougan in Charlie O'Neill's "Nitro Psycho" Arrow also clicked it early when he got out of shape early in the run. Mark Sanders in his "Mr. Explosive" Nova lost traction right off the line and clicked it off. Terry Capp in Ron Hodgson's "Bubble Up" Firebird also lost traction right off the starting line and clicked it off.
