PBIR PREPARES FOR CITRUS NATIONALS

Case has a knack for bringing success to drag racing. During his twenty-five years of service at Maple Grove, he not only promoted the professional classes with distinction but also he elevated the Sportsman classes to extraordinary levels.  Maple Grove Raceway frequently recorded participating drag car counts in excess of 600!  Then George moved south.  Eight months ago, he tackled a new career when he took charge of the all-concrete drag racing facility at the new Palm Beach International Raceway on Beeline Highway in Jupiter, Florida. Next weekend, Saturday and Sunday, November 29-30, George Alan Case, aided by his manager, Michael Clark, and his team, will be promoting the NHRA Citrus Nationals—an annual classic at the former Moroso Motorsports Park.

For participants, this event will award important NHRA grade points and will feature Stock, Super Stock, Super Gas, Super Comp, Super Street, Quick 16, and two ET Bracket categories.  In addition, a jet-powered truck, jet-powered Funny Cars and dragsters, Top Alcohol Dragsters, and a wheel-stander will also feature at the heart of the action.  Also on tap is the inclusion of the postponed Ford Power Festival, featuring a car show, manufacturer’s midway, and Ford drag cars.
