R2B2 Motorsports crew chief Brian Corradi confirmed today that he received a phone call from team owner Roger Burgess citing the lack of primary sponsorship as a major factor in parking the team.

Corradi said the crew was released from their employment effective immediately.
“This is a tough pill to swallow a few days before Christmas,” Corradi said.
Calls to Burgess were not immediately returned.
