During the recently completed NHRA ACDelco Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla., Sewell’s teammates reportedly arranged one of the greatest instances of payback. The teammate arranged with the local authorities providing security at the event to arrest Sewell on bogus traffic violations as he drove to the event.

During the recently completed NHRA ACDelco Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla., Sewell’s teammates reportedly arranged one of the greatest instances of payback. The teammate arranged with the local authorities providing security at the event to arrest Sewell on bogus traffic violations as he drove to the event.

Words can’t describe the stammering comments about being current with his child support and alimony and denied any wrongdoing. The longer the prank went, the more Sewell dug a deeper hole of ribbing from his co-workers.

The icing on the proverbial prankster cake was when authorities informed Sewell the spinner wheels on the semi were illegal in Florida and as the driver he was personally liable for them. He was told he would have to replace the wheels on the spot or face further charges.

The prank hit the highest crescendo before someone lost their straight face and burst into laughter.
