An ESPN2 television angle showed the race wasn't really that close, but from the starting line one couldn't tell the difference in the second round race between eventual winner Tony Schumacher and Morgan Lucas.

The fact that Schumacher and Lucas posted the same exact elapsed time and same exact speed produced an interesting scenario.

No one seemed to know if this is the first time in the history of the sport this feat has ever occurred. However, if anyone ever tells you they know if happened and it was at Phoenix in 1992, just nod your head okay and walk away.
