Team driver Scott Ray is recovering from a heart attack suffered in March.

“Scott is recovering well from his recent surgery but still needs a couple of more weeks to get the doctors okay to return to the driver’s seat,” Team owner Stan Ray said. McCoy actually built the Ohio Crankshaft 1953 Corvette that he will drive. The team plans a test session before the events.

McCoy is a natural choice considering he was scheduled to be a teammate to Ray in 2009.

"We are really looking forward to getting back into the Get Screened America Pro Mod challenge," Scott Ray added. "And while I won't be driving it will be great to see all of our friends again".
