CORZINE NAMED SOUTHEAST GASSERS ASSOCIATION COMPETITION DIRECTOR

The Southeast Gassers Association has named Bubba Corzine as its Competition Director.

"The growth of the SEGA in the last 6 years has become more than myself, close friends and volunteers can handle," SGA Founder Quain Stott said. "After giving it a lot of thought, long time friend Bubba and Letha Corzine from Texas will take over the operations on race day. I know we have a tiger by the tail and it's slowly slipping through our hands. The truth is. if you don't know how to perfect something, call in someone who does.

"I have said from the start that I want the SEGA to be professional on the inside, but to stay true to the 1960's from the fans and racers view. Some might think I am stepping down, but that is not the case. I will still be calling the shots, but will have more time to stand back and look at the big picture to improve the racing on race day.

"I have always strived for this to be the best in fan friendly racing. Bubba and Letha are going to be put in place to make sure that happens. My biggest complaint from the fans is the down time between the rounds, so that will be the first order of business for the team."
