Lifelong Ford enthusiast Dennis Healy, of Hicksville, New York, is the winner of the 2018 Ford Mustang 5.0 Fever Sweepstakes, presented by Motorcraft.

This is the 10th year the contest has given one lucky driver a new Ford vehicle. This year’s winner grew up in a Ford family and is happy to add a 2019 Ford Mustang GT to his Ford fleet.

“I was in shock (when I found out I’d won),” Healy said. “I’m still in shock! I went into a fog when they called to say I was the grand prize winner. I thought ‘people actually win these contests!’ I’m telling everyone about it. If I won, they could be next year’s winner!”

Healy, secretary of the Mustang and Shelby Club of Long Island, N.Y. chose to take delivery of his Ford Mustang from Levittown Ford. He chose a Kona Blue California Special convertible with black leather seats and red stitching after building multiple versions online to help him choose.

“We’ve heard so many great stories from our winners through the years,” said Jasmine Pendleton, Marketing Manager, Ford Customer Service Division. “It’s gratifying to see such enthusiasm for Ford again and again. Congratulations to this year’s big winner!”

Contestants can enter to win a 2020 Ford Mustang GT in this year’s Mustang 5.0 Fever sweepstakes online at https://www.mustang50fever.com/, in person at NASCAR race events or select Mustang car club/enthusiast events from now until Dec. 6, 2019. Legal residents of the 48 contiguous U.S. and D.C. 18 years and older are eligible to win. The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received.

The winner also receives $5,000 MSRP in Ford Performance Parts to customize the new ride.
