Drag racing has lost one of its most dedicated race officials.

Former NHRA Div. 2 Director and past maple Grove Raceway General Manager, Lex Dudas who passed away on Tuesday, May 8th following a courageous battle with cancer. 

Dudas enjoyed a career in the sport which spanned 55 years. In those five and a half decades he served as (NHRA) Southeast Division Director, President of the Super Chevy Shows, Track Manager, General Manager at Indianapolis Raceway Park to Vice President & General Manager of Maple Grove Raceway. He was also instrumental in bringing a national event to Maple Grove. 

Dudas was a member of the Class of 2016 Northeast Division Hall of Fame.
