LET THE RECORD REFLECT ... IT'S DOUG KALITTA
He's the kind of person you cannot help but cheer for, and when it came to last week's ARP Question of the Week, many cheered with their votes for Doug Kalitta.
Kalitta was selected by the readers of CompetitionPlus.com as the best driver never to have won a Top Fuel championship and drew 68-percent of the votes.
Kalitta's performance record shines of championship-caliber with 47 national event victories, and 690 round wins.
A distant second was the late Blaine Johnson, who had 10-percent of the votes. Cory McClenathan was third with seven percent.
Ed "The Ace" McCulloch won the NHRA U.S. Nationals six times out of his 22 NHRA national event titles, but somehow a world championship eluded him.
