LIMITED SPECTATORS TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR RESCHEDULED MARCH MEET

Famoso Dragstrip has announced that a limited supply of spectator tickets are now available for the Good Vibrations March Meet, presented by Lucas Oil, taking place May 27-30, 2021

The state of California announced that as of April 1st it will allow venues to have a limited number of spectators. Famoso hasn’t been able to have any spectators attend drag races since last spring when shutdowns due to the pandemic occurred.

“We are so excited to have spectators at this year’s March Meet,” said Blake Bowser, Vice President of Famoso Dragstrip. “Race fans need to act fast though, because at this time we are limited to 20% capacity and this supply of tickets will sell out quickly.”

Famoso is following California state guidelines that allow venues to have 20% of capacity if a venue is in the red color of the state’s four tier color coded system for reopening. Should Kern, the county that Famoso resides in, move to the orange tier, then Famoso can have spectators at 33% capacity. “Whatever colored tier we are in, tickets will sell quickly, so race fans should purchase tickets sooner rather than later,” Bowser said.

Tickets are only available online and can be purchased by visiting - Famosodragstrip.com. Currently, only full event tickets are available and at this time there will be no tickets available for sale at the gate.

The Good Vibrations March Meet, presented by Lucas Oil, is in its 63rd year and is part of the NHRA Heritage Series. The event features over 500 race teams, a Manufacturers Midway, Swap Meet and a Car Show all taking place May 27-30, 2021.
