Weather delays forced officials to move Thursday’s APD $20,000 eliminations to Friday evening at the Fling at Norwalk presented by Total Seal Piston Rings at Norwalk’s Motorsports Park.
Racing began with the first round of the APD $20K, but an extended midday weather hold stalled competition until the late afternoon. A second storm cell then forced racing activity to be postponed for the night.
Friday’s schedule will begin at 8 a.m. with new entry time trials as planned. Round 1 of the Strange Engineering $50,000 main event will immediately follow.
The continuation of third-round eliminations for the APD $20K will resume later Friday evening.
