ALAN REINHART SHOW SET TO JOIN COMPETITIONPLUSTV NETWORK FEB. 4
The CompetitionPlusTV Network will expand its programming lineup Feb. 4 with the debut of The Alan Reinhart Show, adding one of drag racing’s most recognizable voices to its growing slate of original content.
The show was announced Tuesday night during the Power Hour podcast, where hosts Lee Craft and Dujunnea Bland were joined by veteran announcer Alan Reinhart to confirm the new program.
The inaugural episode will air Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 5 p.m. ET on the CompetitionPlusTV Network, with multi-time Funny Car champion Ron Capps scheduled as the first guest.
Reinhart will co-host the program with Nicole Clark, director of social media for CompetitionPlus.com, and the show will air every other Wednesday at the same time following its debut.
“When you bring in someone as talented as Alan Reinhart, it’s an absolute grand slam,” said Bobby Bennett, founder of CompetitionPlus.com. “He brings a deep well of drag racing knowledge and a voice this sport has long relied on and needs. I’m beyond excited about the opportunity to grow the CompetitionPlusTV network with Alan and Nicole as part of the team.”
Reinhart’s career has spanned decades as a prominent announcer and event promoter across drag racing, with experience ranging from national broadcasts to regional and specialty events throughout the United States and internationally.
His long-standing association with the NHRA and his extensive industry connections have made him one of the sport’s most trusted communicators, valued for both historical perspective and technical insight.
“I am extremely excited about joining the group at CompetitionPlus.com and the CompetitionPlusTV Network,” Reinhart said. “Obviously I’ve followed and read the reporting by Bobby and his team for years and years.”
“The Power Hour has always been must-listen podcasting for a long time, so to be able to join that group and be a part of it is a great opportunity,” he said. “I think we’re all going to have a good time and hopefully we’ll all learn a little something along the way.”
Clark joined CompetitionPlus.com in January 2025 and has played a central role in expanding the outlet’s social media presence while also developing on-camera hosting experience across multiple digital platforms.
Her involvement is expected to add balance and reach to the new show, combining Reinhart’s institutional knowledge with a modern digital approach to motorsports media.
“I am thrilled to be part of this show and to talk about the sport I love and grew up with,” Clark said. “Alan’s a legend and he knows so much about racing, so it’s a privilege to have the opportunity to co-host with him.”
“I’ve seen what CompetitionPlus.com has been doing over the last year and how much it has expanded its footprint,” she said. “The addition of this program on CompetitionPlusTV Network shows Bobby’s dedication to the sport and bringing fans even more racing coverage.”
The Alan Reinhart Show is part of a broader programming expansion planned by CompetitionPlus.com for 2026, as the organization continues to invest in original content focused on drag racing history, personalities, and current events.
“We’re committed to telling the sport’s stories with credibility and depth,” Bennett said. “Adding Alan Reinhart to our lineup helps us do exactly that.”
