NHRA Funny Car driver and team owner Chris King will participate in the Milwaukee Admirals’ Motorsports Night on January 10, alongside professional racers from NASCAR and IndyCar. The Admirals will face off against the Texas Stars at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, starting at 7:00 p.m. CST.
King will be available to the media before the game and will be recognized during the first period. Throughout the event, he and other drivers will sign autographs for fans in attendance.
“I am thrilled to be representing NHRA and my Howards Cams/Competition Products Dodge Charger Funny Car team at the Admirals game on Friday,” King said. “I still play a little hockey and growing up I always wanted to play for the Admirals so this will be an awesome experience.”
King anticipates engaging in discussions about drag racing with players and fellow drivers attending the event. “It should be a fun night to help promote NHRA and motorsports,” he added.
Joining King will be NASCAR Xfinity driver Sam Mayer, NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Nolan Siegel, INDY NXT driver Jordan Missig, NASCAR driver Josh Bilicki, and NASCAR Trucks Champion Johnny Sauter. The Motorsports Night promotion will include a racing-themed Admirals hat and special seating.
The Admirals are currently third in the Central Division with a 16-10 record and are just behind the Stars in the standings. The game will be broadcast on FloHockey and is part of the American Hockey League, which features over 30 teams across the United States and Canada.
