Elite Motorsports has appointed longtime industry figure Michelle Domagala as Vice President of Operations and Partnerships, adding a veteran organizer and relationship-builder to the NHRA’s largest professional team. Domagala has spent the last 18 years as administrator for the Professional Racers Owners Organization (PRO), where she helped coordinate team and industry initiatives.
Team owner Richard Freeman said Domagala’s role will focus on strengthening partnerships, expanding the organization’s reach and supporting Elite’s long-term strategy. Freeman cited her work on the PRO Superstar Shootout events as proof of her ability to manage high-pressure, multi-team projects.
“I’ve known Michelle for a long time, but I had the opportunity to work closely with her when we put on the two PRO Superstar Shootout races,” Freeman said. “Michelle is one of the hardest working individuals in the sport. Those races wouldn’t have happened without her.”
Freeman said bringing Domagala into Elite’s leadership aligns with the team’s next chapter as it nears two decades in business. He added that her perspective will help guide the brand as it navigates rapid industry changes and future growth targets.
Domagala will continue her duties with PRO while partnering with Elite Motorsports through Premium Motorsports Products, the business she and her husband Mike operate. The collaboration is intended to better serve Elite’s international customers and strengthen Elite HP, the team’s high-performance parts and engine division.
“Richard and I have always worked well together. I see his vision clearly, and I believe in the excitement he’s bringing to the sport,” Domagala said. “Elite Motorsports has always done things a bit differently. The culture Richard has built and the people he’s surrounded himself with are truly second to none.”
She added that she hopes to contribute to the team’s distinct identity while supporting new partnership models and broadening Elite’s presence away from the racetrack.
Working alongside Freeman, Domagala will coordinate directly with Sara Slaughter, Director of Communications and Sponsor Relations, to manage partner deliverables and ongoing relationships. The pair will also collaborate with Innovative Creation Experts, led by Natalie Jahnke, on social-media strategy and brand execution.
Courtney Enders will continue to oversee team personnel and crew management, ensuring internal operations remain aligned as Domagala steps into her new role. The structure reflects Elite’s commitment to expanding its footprint while reinforcing a stable leadership framework.
Freeman said Domagala joins the group at the right time, noting the team’s plans for continued innovation. “We’ve got big plans,” he said. “Michelle has offered a fresh perspective and will be instrumental in keeping us on the right path as we continue to change the sport for the better.”
