Drag Race Bracket Bonanza (DRBB), a free fantasy platform built for NHRA fans, has launched a season-long “Major Moments” voting campaign to determine the greatest moments in the sanctioning body’s 75-year history.

The fan-driven bracket series begins with Top Fuel and will roll out across all four professional categories during the 2026 season.

Beginning this week, DRBB will release seeded brackets featuring the Top 64 major moments in each professional class: Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle.

Fans will vote throughout the season to decide which moments advance, narrowing each category to a single defining highlight.

The program will culminate in an Overall Bracket comprised of the top 16 finishers from the four class winners, allowing fans to crown what they believe is the single greatest moment in NHRA history.

The first bracket — Top Fuel — is now live and remains open through March 6, leading into the historic Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals.

After each voting window closes, DRBB will publicly release the fan-selected results.

Organizers say that transparency is intended to encourage discussion across the drag racing community.

“Our goal is to bring fans into the conversation about the moments that define NHRA history,” said Elon Werner, creator of Drag Race Bracket Bonanza. “Every fan has their own list of unforgettable runs, upsets, records and championships. The Major Moments brackets give them a voice, and we’re excited to see the discussions, debates and passion it sparks all season long.”

The voting schedule spaces each professional category between marquee national events.

Organizers believe that positioning will keep engagement steady across the calendar rather than concentrating it in one stretch.

The 2026 Major Moments schedule is as follows: Top Fuel Bracket: February 23 – March 6 (leading into the Gatornationals); Pro Stock Bracket: March 30 – April 10 (between the Arizona Nationals and the Winternationals); Pro Stock Motorcycle Bracket: May 18 – May 29 (between the Route 66 Nationals and the Potomac Nationals); Funny Car Bracket: June 29 – July 17 (between the Norwalk Nationals and the Sonoma Nationals); Overall Bracket: August 24 – September 5 (between the Brainerd Nationals and the U.S. Nationals).

Each round of voting will narrow the 64 seeded moments to a final class champion.

By staggering the brackets between established tour stops, DRBB is aligning fan participation with natural points of conversation on the NHRA calendar.

The structure is designed to keep debate active during the gaps between race weekends.

The initiative builds on DRBB’s existing free-to-play fantasy game, which already allows fans to predict race outcomes and track performance across the season.

The Major Moments addition shifts focus from forecasting the future to evaluating the past.

That pivot introduces a historical dimension during NHRA’s 75th anniversary season.

Instead of relying solely on nostalgia, the format forces head-to-head comparisons across eras, classes and milestones.

By publicly releasing each round’s results, DRBB intends to create measurable benchmarks for fan opinion.

Werner says the visibility of voting outcomes is likely to intensify debate about what qualifies as a defining moment.

The format mirrors traditional sports tournament brackets, creating direct matchups between record-setting passes, championship clinchers and milestone achievements.

Moments included in the brackets span Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle.

Each class will ultimately produce one representative for the Overall Bracket showdown.

Fans can begin voting immediately in the Top Fuel Major Moments bracket at DragRaceBracketBonanza.com.

“Our goal is to bring fans into the conversation about the moments that define NHRA history,” Werner said. “Every fan has their own list of unforgettable runs, upsets, records and championships. The Major Moments brackets give them a voice, and we’re excited to see the discussions, debates and passion it sparks all season long.”
