PAUL WOODY JOINS JFR AS CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER

In its continued effort to grow partnerships and strengthen business-to-business relationships, John Force Racing announced that they have hired Paul Woody as its Chief Revenue Officer. In his new role, Woody will be responsible for creating new and enhancing current partnerships as well as developing and executing successful activation.

“We are always looking for ways to keep up, keep up with how business is being done, keep up with what sponsors are looking for and I believe Paul will be important in keeping us up to speed,” said John Force, CEO of John Force Racing, and driver of the PEAK/BlueDEF Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car in a press release. “We’re focusing on maintaining partnerships for years to come, building relationships that benefit both us and the businesses that support what we love doing. Having Paul specifically focused on finding and maintaining those relationships will be essential to John Force Racing.”

Woody comes to JFR with an impressive resume. He has 20 years of sponsorship experience, most recently serving as the Vice President of Business Development for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) in Colorado Springs, Colo., for four years. At the PRCA, Woody played an integral role in sponsorships, partnerships, and media development.
Prior to PRCA, Woody worked for IMG, a global leader in sports, events, media, and fashion management and marketing, for a total of nine years, notably serving as General Manager for IMG Sports Marketing at the Air Force Academy, Ohio University and Assistant General Manager at UNLV.

Before IMG, Woody spent five years in NASCAR partnership sales at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and one year with Texas Christian University in the athletics marketing department.

Woody is a native of Double Oak, Texas, and received his PhD from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2016 after completing an MBA and MSA from Ohio University and graduating with a Physics degree from Hendrix College in Conway, Ark.

“I am very excited to be joining John Force Racing, one of the biggest names in motorsports. It is an honor to have the opportunity to represent and help the legacy of this team grow,” said Woody in a press release. “This team is already a leader both on and off the track. John is known for the quality with which he treats his sponsors. He and Robert Hight have established concrete relationships with their partners, and I look forward to building on that foundation and expanding their reach for the next generation of John Force Racing.

In his spare time, Woody enjoys time with his two sons (10 and 7) and his wife of 14 years. He is a member of Rotary Club International and serves on the Board of Directors for Home Front Military Network, a local charity focusing on financial bridge assistance for veterans.
