The IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series is set to return in 2025 with a five-round tour. The series kicks off July 9-12 at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio.

 

This announcement of the series was made on Thursday afternoon.

 

The second round follows at Milan Dragway in Michigan from July 23-26.

 

The series returns to National Trail Raceway for a third round on September 3-6. It will then head to Dragway 42 in West Salem, Ohio, for round four on September 24-27.

 

The season concludes at GALOT Motorsports Park in Dunn, North Carolina, on November 5-8. Competitors will include Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, Mountain Motor Pro Stock, Pro Mod, Pro Nitrous, Outlaw Snowmobiles, and various sportsman classes, all supported by competitive purses.

 

IHRA Pro-Am events will occur on Wednesday and Thursday, featuring Top Dragster, Top Sportsman, Stock, Super Stock, Quick Rod, Super Rod, and Hot Rod classes. These classes will compete during both the Pro-Am and the Outlaw Nitro Series weekend, showcasing top sportsman racing talent.

 

The IHRA also released its payouts, listing $50,000 winning purses for both Top Fuel and Funny Car in eight-car fields.
