John Force Racing will enter the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series with a revised crew chief lineup across three Funny Car teams and one Top Fuel program, reinforcing its commitment to championship contention in the sport’s 75th anniversary season.
The Brownsburg-based organization, which has won 24 NHRA world championships, will field four full-time entries with a mix of veteran leadership and new additions guiding its programs.
“This is a great time to be part of John Force Racing and I’m more excited about getting the season going than I have been in a long time,” said 16-time NHRA Funny Car world champion and team owner John Force. “There are new crew chiefs and crew members bringing fresh blood to the race shop, sharing their experience and know-how with the crew chiefs and crew already established here who have won races and championships and set national records. We’re back to having four teams in Top Fuel and Funny Car and I can’t wait to see them go down the track at Gainesville.”
Danny Hood and Tim Fabrisi will continue as crew chiefs for the PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet SS Funny Car driven by Jack Beckman. Beckman finished third in the 2025 Funny Car standings in his first full season with the team, recording two victories, three runner-up finishes, and five No. 1 qualifying positions.
Chris Cunningham will transition from the Beckman program to co-lead the Cornwell Tools Chevrolet SS Funny Car with Jason Bunker, who most recently worked with Cruz Pedregon Racing. The team will be driven by Jordan Vandergriff, who will make his Funny Car debut after prior Top Fuel experience and limited appearances last season following a five-year hiatus.
David Grubnic and John Collins will remain atop the John Force Racing Top Fuel Dragster, with Josh Hart taking over driving duties in 2026. The team adds a new primary partnership with Hart’s Burnyzz Speed Shop.
Grubnic and Collins guided Brittany Force to a fourth-place finish in the 2025 Top Fuel standings, earning two wins, one runner-up result, and six No. 1 qualifying positions. The team also set the NHRA Top Fuel speed national record multiple times, with a final mark of 343.51 mph at Indianapolis.
Hart, a two-time NHRA Top Fuel event winner, finished 10th in last season’s standings as an owner-driver. He will now focus exclusively on driving duties under the established crew chief pairing.
Mike Neff and Jonnie Lindberg will serve as the decision-makers for the Bandero Premium Tequila Chevrolet SS Funny Car driven by Alexis DeJoria. Neff previously worked as DeJoria’s crew chief, while Lindberg joins the team after serving as co-crew chief at Paul Lee Racing.
DeJoria finished 12th in the 2025 Funny Car standings, advancing to the semifinals at four events. The team enters 2026 aiming to convert consistent late-round appearances into victories.
“We’re back to having four teams in Top Fuel and Funny Car and I can’t wait to see them go down the track at Gainesville,” Force said.
