Shawn Langdon moved into the Top Fuel points lead Sunday with a win over Brittany Force in the final round of the NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways. Matt Hagan (Funny Car), Dallas Glenn (Pro Stock), and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also claimed victories in their respective professional categories.
Langdon powered his Kalitta Air Careers dragster to a 3.662-second pass at 337.07 mph, earning his third win of the season and the 22nd of his career. He topped Force, who recorded the fastest run in NHRA history at 341.85 mph in the semifinals, but smoked the tires in the title duel. Langdon beat Cameron Ferre and Tony Stewart earlier in the day before winning at Pacific Raceways for the first time.
“We knew the expectation for today of what we wanted to accomplish,” Langdon said. “From here on out, it’s just about doing the same thing, keep making great runs.”
Force reached her second final of the year with wins over Ida Zetterstrom, Antron Brown, and Doug Kalitta, who earlier set a track-record 3.628 in the opening round of eliminations. In the semis, Force took advantage of prime atmospheric and track conditions with a stellar 3.659 and the record 341.85 to end Kalitta’s victory hopes.

In Funny Car, Hagan drove his Direct Connection Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat to a 3.904 at 331.94 to defeat Ron Capps. Hagan squeezed out the win by 2/100ths of a second, as Capps stopped the timers at 3.919, 331.61.
Hagan beat Buddy Hull, Jack Beckman, and Alexis DeJoria to reach the final, where his .054-second reaction time helped seal the victory. The win was Hagan’s first of 2025, and the 53rd of his career while moving him to third in points.
“This was a get-healthy weekend for us moving into Sonoma,” Hagan said. “Everybody’s really tough in Funny Car, but we were able to put it all together today.”
Capps appeared in his fourth final of the year and 156th of his career. Austin Prock, who lost in the second round to Spencer Hyde, retained a 140-point lead in the standings heading to Sonoma, California, next weekend (July 25-27).

Glenn won at his home track for the first time in NHRA Pro Stock, taking advantage of a red-light foul by Jeg Coughlin Jr. in the final. Glenn picked up his fourth win of the season and 17th of his career.
Glenn set the track record three times during qualifying and added the second-quickest run in Pro Stock history at 6.446 seconds Sunday. “It’s definitely really special,” Glenn said. “I feel like this is the best car I’ve ever had. We’re definitely not taking our foot off the gas.”
Coughlin, last year’s Seattle winner, reached his first final of 2025 by defeating Erica Enders, Cory Reed, and Cody Coughlin. Thanks to a major first-round upset – Cory Reed’s win over points leader Greg Anderson by .009 seconds – Glenn is now the leader in the division.

Herrera earned his 25th career Pro Stock Motorcycle win – the fastest anyone has reached that milestone – by beating Richard Gadson with a 6.690 at 201.55. It was Herrera’s fourth win of the year and second at Pacific Raceways.
The two-time world champion swept past Chase Van Sant and Matt Smith to reach the final and became the first rider to dip into the 6.60s at Pacific Raceways. “I never would imagine getting to 25 this quick,” Herrera said. “It still feels like my first. Every time you win, you push yourself for another.”
Gadson reached his fourth final of 2025 with wins over Angie Smith and Chris Bostick. Herrera leads the standings by 138 points heading to Sonoma, which also features the Pro Stock Motorcycle All-Star Callout.
The NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series continues July 25-27 with the Denso NHRA Sonoma Nationals presented by PowerEdge at Sonoma Raceway.
