Lokar was Skip Wall’s destiny. Though its roots can be traced back to the 1960s in his machine shop, the Lokar brand was established decades later in 1988. The impetus for the company was Wall’s frustration with a lack of quality parts available for his hot rod projects. They might have been suitable for other enthusiasts, but not this gearhead.
With the support and influence of his wife, Debbie, they created Lokar.
The company grew with staple products such as the Spring Return Kit, designed by Skip to better mount the cables and include a double spring for safety; later brackets for Kickdowns; U-Cut-to-Fit Throttle Cables; and Transmission and Engine Dipsticks.
Lokar’s latest offering through its LS Classic branding,
is a new air/oil separator to their popular LS valley plates in which a high-efficiency breather assembly and port are integrated.
These units are precision-machined from aluminum and replace the stock valley plates on Gen III and Gen IV LS engines. They are built with looks and styling in mind, and the integrated baffled air/oil separator keeps oil out of the intake system without a catch-can to empty.
Available in machined or black powder-coated finishes, they include all necessary fasteners, O-rings, and seals. Like every LS Classic product, they are made in the USA and come with a lifetime warranty.
