Mark Micke continued his qualifying dominance by securing the No. 1 spot at the U.S. Street Nationals, topping Ken Quartuccio with a 3.567-second pass at 219.36 mph in the final qualifying session. This event is part of the inaugural Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service.

Quartuccio’s time of 3.572 seconds from Friday held up until the final few runs, but Micke’s performance in his twin-turbo 1969 Camaro in the cooler air at Bradenton Motorsports Park shifted the standings. Matt Deitsch landed the 32-car bump spot with a time of 3.655 seconds in his nitrous-fed 1969 Camaro.

The 32 qualifiers gathered for a random chip draw to determine first-round pairings, producing notable matchups, including Snowbird Outlaw Nationals winner Kye Kelley against two-time NHRA Pro Mod champion “Stevie Fast” Jackson, and a rematch between Spencer Hyde and Kurt Steding.

The U.S. Street Nationals also marks the second race of the 2024-25 FuelTech Radial Outlaws Racing Series, highlighting No. 1 qualifiers Lyle Barnett in PST Driveshafts Pro 275, Chad Henderson in Energy Manufacturing Limited Drag Radial, Alan Felts in Motion Raceworks X275, Shawn Pevlor in TRZ Motorsports Ultra Street, and Dean Fluhart in SP Tools Limited 235.

Walter Lannigan Jr. claimed the No. 1 qualifying position in TBM Brakes Outlaw 632 presented by Rife Sensors.
