Nitro Fish, a longtime apparel brand in the NHRA community, has been named presenting sponsor of the 40th annual NHRA Reading Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway, scheduled for Sept. 11-14.
The race will serve as the opening event in the six-race Countdown to the Championship and marks four decades of NHRA competition at the Pennsylvania facility.
The Koretsky family, which took over the track in 2022, has led significant upgrades to Maple Grove Raceway, contributing to three consecutive years of sellout crowds. Nitro Fish has been a fixture in the NHRA apparel scene for more than 20 years, known for its bold and colorful designs.
“We are proud to welcome Nitro Fish Apparel as the presenting sponsor of the 40th NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway,” said Kyle Koretsky of Maple Grove Raceway. “Nitro Fish has a long tradition of supporting the NHRA, its racers and this facility, making their involvement especially fitting for this milestone year.”

“The bold and unique designs of the Nitro Fish brand have made them a fan favorite for so many years,” Koretsky added. “Celebrating four decades of world-class racing and passionate fans, we look forward to delivering and celebrating an unforgettable weekend this year.”
Winners at last year’s Reading event included Antron Brown (Top Fuel), Austin Prock (Funny Car), Aaron Stanfield (Pro Stock), and Hector Arana Jr. (Pro Stock Motorcycle). Brown and Prock went on to win world championships in their respective classes.
All four pro categories will return to Maple Grove for the kickoff to the NHRA playoffs, with television coverage airing on FS1. The track is also home to the quickest run in NHRA history — a 3.623-second pass by Brittany Force in 2019.
