Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, has added a new marquee event to its 2026 calendar with the announcement of the inaugural Chaos Super Nationals, scheduled for Memorial Day weekend. The four-day event will run from Wednesday, May 20, through Saturday, May 23, bringing a national touring spectacle to one of drag racing’s most established venues.

The announcement confirms that the Chaos brand will make its first appearance at the Norwalk facility. The event will combine the Nitro Chaos and Funny Car Chaos series into a single national-level showcase.

Organizers positioned the Chaos Super Nationals as more than a standalone race. The event is being framed as a partnership between two influential entities within drag racing, blending an established venue with a touring series known for unconventional formats.

The on-track lineup is expected to feature a mix of nitro-burning dragsters, altereds, and funny cars. Officials said the format is designed to emphasize close racing and repeated runs rather than traditional elimination pacing.

For the Norwalk track, the addition continues a trend of expanding beyond traditional sanctioning-body events. The facility has increasingly leaned into specialty programming aimed at drawing both core racers and casual fans.

Bill Bader, owner of the Norwalk Motorsports Park, said the event aligns with the track’s long-standing emphasis on fan-focused racing. He credited the Chaos brand with sharing a similar approach to presentation and competition.

“We are ecstatic to welcome the Chaos brand to Motorsports Park,” Bader said. “Our facility is built on a foundation of fan excitement and world-class racing, and Chris and Tera Graves and their brand embody that spirit perfectly.”

The Chaos Super Nationals also represents a significant expansion for Chaos Events. The series has built its following through regional and national stops that emphasize nostalgia-style nitro racing with modern execution.

Chris Graves, owner of Chaos Events, said bringing both Chaos series together at the Norwalk facility has been a long-term objective. He described the event as a milestone for the brand’s continued growth.

“Bringing Nitro Chaos and Funny Car Chaos together for a single Super Nationals event at a venue as legendary as Motorsports Park is a dream come true,” Graves said. “Bill Bader runs a world-class operation, and we know our racers and fans are going to be treated to an unparalleled experience. We anticipate this will be one of the biggest and most exciting events on the 2026 schedule.”

The Memorial Day weekend placement positions the Chaos Super Nationals as a destination event. Track officials expect the timing to draw traveling teams and fans already accustomed to making Norwalk a holiday weekend stop.

Beyond the racing program, the event is expected to carry a festival-style atmosphere consistent with previous Chaos promotions. Organizers said the goal is to create an immersive experience that extends beyond individual rounds of competition.

While detailed schedules and ticket information have not yet been released, both sides indicated planning is already underway. Additional announcements are expected in the coming months as the event structure is finalized.
