Due to inclement weather forecasts, the Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series has canceled the PDRA American Doorslammer Challenge presented by Callies Performance Products, originally scheduled for May 22-24. Officials determined that cold and windy conditions would not provide a safe environment for the multi-day event.

After several days of rain forecasts, officials observed that the expected weather conditions would impede the ability to complete the championship series. Though a backup day was available for Sunday, recent updates indicated rain chances for both Sunday and Monday.

PDRA and track officials expressed disappointment in the cancellation, noting that the event in Norwalk is a highlight of the calendar. The safety of all competitors and guests remains the series’ top priority.

All individuals who purchased race entries or tickets online will receive refunds within 7-10 days.
