PowerEdge will continue its drag racing involvement as presenting sponsor of the 37th annual DENSO NHRA Sonoma Nationals, set for July 25-27, the company announced Tuesday. This, comes after PowerEdge debuted last weekend with sponsorship on the Pro Stocker driven by Matt Latino at the NHRA Northwest Nationals outside of Seattle.
The event, held in Northern California’s wine country, marks the 12th stop of the 20-race 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season. PowerEdge is a brand of DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., specializing in aftermarket starters, alternators and diesel aftertreatment products for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
“We are thrilled to sponsor the Sonoma Nationals and showcase our PowerEdge brand of starters, alternators and diesel aftertreatment products for medium and heavy-duty vehicles,” said Jose Ramirez, senior manager of sales. “The NHRA fanbase is passionate about automotive quality and performance. We design and build PowerEdge products with the same passion.”
Fans attending the event will have opportunities to see and learn more about PowerEdge products at the company’s booth in Nitro Alley. Displays will feature starters, alternators, diesel particulate filters and diesel oxidation catalysts for buses, trucks and other commercial and industrial vehicles.
The sponsorship continues DENSO’s decades-long tradition of involvement in professional motorsports. The company has previously sponsored teams and events in NHRA, NASCAR, Formula One, World Rally Championship and Super GT racing.
PowerEdge components are among DENSO’s precision original equipment and replacement parts designed to meet the demands of today’s transportation industry. More information is available at www.PowerEdgeProducts.com.
