bproauto will enter the NHRA Mission Drag Racing Series this weekend through a new partnership with Chad Green Motorsports, aligning its aftermarket brand with one of Funny Car’s early-season contenders. The agreement begins at the NHRA Winternationals in Pomona and positions the company within one of motorsports’ most visible performance platforms.
The move places bproauto alongside Chad Green, the reigning Gatornationals Funny Car winner and current points leader entering the weekend. It also connects the brand with a team that has already proven capable of winning at Pomona, including Green’s 2023 World Finals victory at the historic Southern California facility.
The partnership reflects a calculated entry into NHRA competition, where brand visibility is tied to performance and consistency. With Funny Car machines exceeding 300 mph and producing upwards of 12,000 horsepower, the series offers a direct connection to the high-performance audience bproauto targets.
That alignment is not accidental. bproauto, launched in North America in 2023, has steadily expanded its lineup of maintenance and repair products distributed through dealership service departments, and this move signals a push to strengthen its identity among performance-minded consumers.
“We are very excited to have bproauto as a partner with Funny Car star Chad Green and his CGM drag racing organization in the NHRA drag racing series this year,” said Dustin Pedley, global head of bproauto at Stellantis. “NHRA Funny Car racing takes high-quality performance and outstanding teamwork. We believe the bproauto brand is a great match with the high-powered straight-line action and the excitement for the racing fans. We wish Chad and his racing team the best in putting the bproauto Funny Car in the winner’s circle.”
The Brownsburg, Ind.-based CGM operation fields two Funny Cars across the 20-race NHRA schedule, adding depth and flexibility to its program. Green pilots the primary entry, while his son Hunter shares seat time in the second car with four-time NHRA national event winner Blake Alexander.
bproauto will begin as an associate sponsor on Green’s Funny Car this weekend before expanding into primary sponsorship roles at three marquee events later this season. Those races include stops in Epping, Norwalk, and Las Vegas, each providing high-attendance stages and national broadcast exposure.
The staggered approach gives the brand immediate visibility while building toward larger activations deeper into the season. It also allows both sides to evaluate performance metrics before the program reaches its peak promotional windows.
“Bringing bproauto on board as a partner is so exciting for our CGM team,” said Green. “We want to do a great job for the company with our Funny Car starting this weekend at the NHRA Winternationals. The NHRA fan base is a perfect complement for this bproauto association, and we can’t wait to have the NHRA crowd check out the bproauto aftermarket catalog and directory. This partnership is great for CGM and the NHRA Drag Racing Series.”
The timing of the partnership is critical, arriving as Green carries early-season momentum into Pomona. With a win already secured and the points lead in hand, the team offers immediate competitive credibility to its new partner.
That combination of performance and exposure is often what determines the long-term value of sponsorships in drag racing. For bproauto, the early return will be measured not only in brand impressions but in how often its name is associated with late-round appearances and potential victories.
Qualifying begins Friday with two sessions, followed by two more rounds on Saturday and eliminations on Sunday. The event will be televised nationally, providing bproauto its first major opportunity to establish a presence in NHRA competition.
