Three-time Funny Car world champion Ron Capps is set to kick off his 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season with the support of F3 Energy, an innovative energy drink brand specializing in natural ingredients aimed at enhancing mental clarity and physical performance.

 

Capps, the active winningest racer in the Funny Car category, announced a multi-year partnership with F3 Energy, marking the brand’s first entry into NHRA Drag Racing. Founded in 2022, F3 initially made its mark through collaborations with UFC and MMA fighters, later expanding into other adrenaline-fueled sports like Professional Bull Riders and motocross. The company has recently ventured into IndyCar as well.

 

“We’ve been wanting and waiting for the right beverage partner, and we’re beyond thrilled that F3 has opted to expand into NHRA Drag Racing,” Capps said, fresh off a victory at the PRO Superstar Shootout pre-season test event in Bradenton, Florida. “Let’s face it, 330-mile-per-hour racing and energy drinks go hand-in-hand; it’s the perfect fit, and with F3, we’re proud to align ourselves with one of the beverage industry’s latest and greatest lines to hit the market.”

 

Capps noted that his NAPA Auto Care Toyota GR Supra Funny Car team has already enjoyed F3 products throughout the off-season. “F3 provides the perfect balance of great taste and clean ingredients, and the best part is, F3 doesn’t make you feel jittery or anxious the way some other energy drinks do,” he added. “They keep you focused and sharp, which will definitely be helpful during those long days at the track.”
