Three-time NHRA Funny Car world champion Ron Capps will unveil a new look at the NHRA Gatornationals as he introduces Carlyle Tools’ rebranding. This weekend at Gainesville Raceway, Capps and his NAPA Auto Care Funny Car team will showcase a striking black-and-venom green paint scheme.

Carlyle Tools, known for its broad range of products including hand tools and storage solutions, will feature its revamped branding, officially launching in April. The rebrand aims to engage students and young technicians while maintaining its presence on NAPA-backed entries.

Carlyle has partnered with Ron Capps Motorsports to introduce this fresh identity to NHRA fans. Motorsports enthusiasts will get a first look this weekend, with additional appearances planned at the NHRA U.S. Nationals and the NHRA Nevada Nationals.

“It’s really an honor that Carlyle has chosen our team to be a part of their relaunch,” Capps said. “I think the fans are really going to love it.”

Carlyle Tools are recognized for their durability and precision, crafted from high-quality steel and alloy. The company assures that despite a new look, their commitment to delivering dependable tools remains unchanged.

“Carlyle Tools are built to outwork the competition,” Capps said. “We are ready to outwork the competition and make every run count this season.”

As the official tool supplier for Ron Capps Motorsports, Carlyle Tools will feature prominently at multiple NHRA events throughout the season. Their branding will be displayed on Capps’ Funny Car and team apparel, and the Carlyle OUTLAW trailer will have a dedicated presence at at least 10 events.

“Debuting the new Carlyle paint scheme on the Ron Capps NAPA Auto Care Funny Car is the perfect way for us to give the NHRA fanbase a sneak peek at our new brand identity,” said Emily Schneider, Sr. Director of Marketing.

Fans can catch the Carlyle Tools Toyota GR Supra Funny Car on track this Friday, March 7, at the NHRA Gatornationals as Capps begins his pursuit of a fourth NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series title.
