NHRA President Glen Cromwell responded with a smile to a rumor that the sanctioning body has secured a pro-level series sponsor to replace Camping World when the Marcus Lemonis-operated RV giant bows out at the close of the 2024 season.

Cromwell said, “Good things are coming,” and added an announcement is expected this coming week.  Multiple racers confirmed this during a recent driver-series meeting. Without the confirmation of a name, it remains in rumor status.
