AB Motorsports, owned and operated by Antron Brown, has secured a new partnership with Red Line Oil beginning with the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season. The agreement aligns one of drag racing’s most accomplished teams with a lubricant brand rooted in decades of motorsports competition.
The partnership brings Red Line Oil on board as the team’s oil partner for the AB Motorsports Top Fuel program. Both sides emphasized a shared commitment to preparation, consistency, and results earned through performance.
“We view #TeamRedLineOil as family — drivers, riders, teams from all walks of life and types of racing,” said Mark Beatty, Brand Director for Red Line Oil. “Having Antron Brown and his AB Motorsports team join our family in 2026 is a wonderful way to start the year. We kicked off our Formulated to Win, Proven by You campaign last year, and there is no doubt AB and his team will prove it many times over.”
Brown said the partnership reflects a racing-first mindset that remains critical at the Top Fuel level. He noted that the margin for error in the category leaves no room for compromise.
“Red Line Oil has been part of this sport for a long time, and that matters to us,” Brown said. “When you’re competing in Top Fuel, you don’t get second chances. Everything has to perform at the highest level, every single run. Red Line’s history, their commitment to racers, and their attention to detail make them a great fit for our program.”
With Red Line Oil joining the organization for 2026, AB Motorsports enters the new season focused on momentum, preparation, and execution on and off the racetrack. The team is coming off continued competitive growth as Brown balances the dual roles of owner and driver.
That focus carries added significance as Brown was recently named to the NHRA Top 75 Drivers list as part of the sanctioning body’s 75th anniversary recognition. The honor places him among the most influential competitors in the sport’s history.
Beyond competition, Brown continues to invest in drag racing’s future through the AB Motorsports Accelerate Program. Launched in 2023, the initiative is designed to help drivers progress through professional ranks with structured support and mentorship.
Brown will begin his pursuit of a fifth Top Fuel championship when the NHRA season opens at the NHRA Gatornationals, March 5–8, at Gainesville Raceway. The event has long served as a benchmark for championship contenders.
Founded in 2019, AB Motorsports is a single-car NHRA Top Fuel team headquartered in Brownsburg, Indiana. The team made its on-track debut in 2022 and has collected 13 wins through its first four seasons of competition.
Brown is the only competitor in NHRA history to win national events in both Top Fuel and Pro Stock Motorcycle. He has earned 51 No. 1 qualifiers and 81 NHRA national event victories across his career.
Brown became the first Black driver to win a major U.S. auto racing championship with his 2012 Top Fuel title. He added another milestone in 2024 by becoming the first Black owner-driver to win a Top Fuel championship.
The Accelerate Program marked another chapter in 2023 when three-time Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion Angelle Sampey joined the initiative. Sampey made her Top Alcohol Dragster debut later that year and continues to advance toward the Top Fuel ranks.
“Red Line’s history, their commitment to racers, and their attention to detail make them a great fit for our program,” Brown said.
