The IHRA continues its journey to relevance under the new leadership of Kenny Nowling.
The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) has partnered with MyRacePass to improve digital resources for tracks, racers, and fans. This collaboration aims to enhance the drag racing experience significantly.
MyRacePass will launch two new websites: a fan-focused site at IHRA.com and a competitor platform at IHRAracer.com. The fan site will feature race schedules, track partner lists, merchandise, and news, while the competitor site will provide safety updates, event registrations, and rule changes.
“Partnering with MyRacePass is going to be tremendous for the IHRA, our track partners, racers, and fans. I couldn’t be more excited about our future together,” said IHRA President Kenny Nowling. He praised MyRacePass for their work on both websites and expressed commitment to the partnership.
As a MyRacePass subscriber, Nowling noted the app’s benefits for track partners and racers. He added, “We’re definitely excited to embark on a new era, and this is just another step personified by our motto #IHRAReturnToGlory!”
MyRacePass will also assist IHRA track partners with the MRP network in streamlining race day operations. This includes online ticketing, driver registrations, and access to race results, points standings, and news.
The collaboration marks a new era for digital engagement in drag racing, with further innovations expected. Amanda Wesler, MyRacePass’ Drag Racing Specialist, remarked, “I am super excited about partnering with IHRA to help improve the overall raceday experience.”
Wesler emphasized the MyRacePass network’s benefits for communication and information sharing among tracks and series. She expressed optimism about a long-term partnership with IHRA to continue enhancing the drag racing experience.
