While there was a buzz at the PRI Show of forthcoming new Top Fuel teams, one team’s downsizing went largely unreported. Multiple sources have confirmed that John Force Racing will enter the 2024 season with only three nitro teams. We are told Austin Prock’s team will be parked indefinitely while JFR seeks to find a replacement for the Montana Brand/RMT program not returning for the upcoming season.

It is said Prock will remain with the team and could likely drive in 2024 anyway, as part of a possible satellite team. Force has said on more than one occasion that Prock is part of the long-range JFR plans.
